About Me

update as of Jan 2015 –

I’m a student, planning on studying Journalism at Kwantlen University in BC, Canada. Working in a plus size women’s consignment store in New Westminster, BC. I like the store, very much into body positivity and fashion.

Also very passionate about my anti-religiousness and atheism.

Occasionally I will write about those things in addition to depression/anxiety stuff that I experience.

Je parle un peu francais.

Let’s just say I’m a multi-faceted individual who is nuts about Science Fiction, partial to healthy and environmentally friendly related things, and doesn’t really fit into any category like “goth”, “hippy”, “square” or whatever. I’ve tried labelling myself and I have failed every time. I like to think of my perfect fashion style as Chiana meets Zhaan meets Folksy fun with a little retro thrown in.

Right now I’m on a huge craft kick, I can’t seem to read enough or see enough projects.. like crochet, sewing, drawing, cool home decor and storage projects, and to a lesser extent, knitting. Although I’m sure someday I’ll be a knitter too, I have to take one thing at a time. Update- I do knitting more now cause it doesn’t hurt my wrist as much, and I don’t discriminate between types of needlework. Very interested in knitting, crochet, embroidery techniques, felting.. and book binding. Of course, supplies I own don’t really actually mean that I do all these things, I think I’m a bigger fan of the potential and the process than actually having a finished product.

This blog is going to be about whatever I feel like talking about. Daily life, projects I’m working on or planning to do, food that my awesome Man makes, food that I try to make, rants about things I am passionate about for various reasons. I’ll try to make it interesting.

My gorgeous cat.

I also feel I should add that I reserve the right to boot any shitty comment at my discretion.
